Pumping soap and shampoo without foam
Foam in the tank means half-filled bottles and wrong weights. It forms when the product is shaken or mixed with air. A gear pump carries the liquid in closed volumes between the teeth and delivers it without turbulence. Running at moderate speed keeps the shampoo as it left the mixer.
Viscosity changes with the recipe and with temperature. A positive displacement pump keeps the same flow rate with a thin hand soap and with a dense shower gel.
FX series for cosmetic production
For shampoo, shower gel and personal care soaps we recommend the FX series. It is made entirely of stainless steel machined from solid, can be completely dismantled in a few minutes and is prepared for C.I.P. washing. That saves time when you change fragrance or colour several times a day.
The same pump serves producers of cosmetic creams who fill both families of product.
ZV and NAV series for detergents and bulk transfer
The ZV series lists soap, shampoo and detergents among its fluids. It covers small flow rates from 0.47 to 102 l/min and suits dosing stations and small fillers. The flanged NAV series lists soaps too and handles bulk transfer, from tanker unloading to storage.
Bodies are available in cast iron or AISI 316 stainless steel. The technical office advises the material for your detergent.
Dosing, filling and floor cleaning machines
Flow is proportional to speed, so the quantity dosed is regulated through the motor.
Our pumps also work on industrial floor cleaning machines, where they mist water or soapy water. If you add perfume to your products, see our flavour and fragrance pumps. Send your data to our technical office in Bologna, Italy, for the choice of model.
