Built for transfer of viscous fluids
The NAV is a positive displacement, self-priming pump with flanged ports. It moves a fixed volume at every revolution, so the flow rate holds when the product is thick or the delivery line is long. You use it to unload tankers, fill storage tanks and feed process lines.
Fluids handled by the NAV series
Fuel oils and thermal oils, lubricants, petrol, diesel, solvents, resins, isocyanates, paints, soaps, chocolate and molasses. Typical installations include depots for fuel oil and diesel, circuits for thermal oil, plants for resins and storage of molasses in feed mills.
Nine models and choice of speed
Nine sizes cover displacements from 120 to 1910 cm³/rev. The model depends on the flow rate and on the speed the viscosity allows: the thicker the fluid, the lower the speed. Our technical office in Bologna, Italy, works out the size and the motor power with you.
Bodies are available in cast iron or AISI 316 stainless steel. ATEX documentation is available on request for flammable fluids.
NAV or CR?
If the product solidifies at room temperature, choose the CR series, which has a heating jacket around the pumping chamber. For small flow rates and metering, look at the ZV series. For edible oils and other fluids that flow when cold, the NAV is the usual choice.
